Departure from Lima and stop at artisan bakery
Very early, between 04:00 and 05:00 a.m., our team will stop by your hotel in Lima. As we leave the city behind, the sunrise illuminates the south coast and our guide begins to tell you stories of the sea, desert, and ancient secrets. Before continuing, we will take a break at an artisan bakery: there, the aroma of freshly baked bread and hot coffee will welcome you to the adventure (optional breakfast).
Ballestas Islands: marine fauna and the enigma of the Candelabra
In Paracas, we will board a speeder to sail to the Ballestas Islands. The sea makes its way to a natural spectacle: sea lions doze in the sun, Humboldt penguins walk among the rocks and guano birds fly over the sky. On the way, we will contemplate the legendary Candelabra of Paracas, an immense geoglyph traced in the sand whose origin remains a mystery. The sea breeze and the sounds of fauna accompany every moment.
Wine and pisco winery: tradition and flavour
The route now takes us to a traditional Ica winery. Between barrels and stills, you will learn about the production of wine and pisco, the liquid prides of this warm land. You will participate in a tasting of mistelas, liqueur creams and artisanal piscos, all while the atmosphere invites you to relax. You will also have free time to enjoy a typical lunch at the local restaurant (lunch not included).
Huacachina Oasis: adrenaline and postcard-perfect landscapes
In the afternoon, we arrive at the heart of the desert: the Huacachina Oasis. The contrast between the emerald green lagoon and the golden dunes is simply hypnotic. We will climb the famous buggies for a tour full of excitement, with dizzying climbs and descents that get the heart racing. Then, it will be time to slide on sandboards down the sandy slopes, an unforgettable experience. You will have free time to explore, relax or simply take in the scenery.
Trip to Nazca and rest
In the evening, we will depart for Nazca, where you will spend the night. After a day full of sea, tradition and desert, a well-deserved rest awaits you before the exciting flight on the second day.
