We also process your data when it is necessary to perform the travel contract you enter into with us or to comply with a legal obligation.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us. Please note that if you withdraw consent for data that is essential for your booking, we may not be able to provide the service.
6. Who we share your data with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share it, to the extent necessary, with:
- Providers of your travel services: hotels, transport and train companies, guides, restaurants and the entities that issue entrance tickets to tourist sites (for example, the official Machu Picchu ticket sales).
- Banks and payment gateways, to process your payments.
- Technology providers acting on our behalf, such as web hosting and email, Google (Google Analytics and reCAPTCHA) and WhatsApp (Meta), when you message us there.
- Public authorities, when required by law or ordered by a competent authority.
We require our processors to handle your data only according to our instructions and with appropriate security measures.
7. International transfers
Some of our technology providers, such as Google and Meta, store data on servers located outside Peru. In those cases there is a cross-border flow of personal data, which we carry out in accordance with Law No. 29733 and its Regulations, using providers that offer adequate levels of protection.
8. How long we keep your data
- Enquiries and quotes that do not lead to a booking: up to 2 years from our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Booking, payment and receipt data: for the period required by tax, accounting and consumer-protection rules.
- Sensitive data: only while your trip is being prepared and carried out; we delete it afterwards.
- Marketing data: until you withdraw your consent.
Once these periods end, we delete or anonymize your data.
9. Data security
We apply technical, organizational and legal measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure: an encrypted connection (HTTPS) across the whole site, access restricted to the staff who need it, strong passwords and providers with recognized security standards. No system is infallible; if an incident affects your data, we will act as required by law.
